Perfect Prints

The catwalks have been bright and colourful this season and, some might claim, potentially damaging to the eyes. One of the most popular trends I have noticed of late are prints – bold, colourful, of every possible type you can think of prints. Not my favourite I have to admit. What can I say? I hate busy clothes and I hate clothes which clash – both of these seem to be trendy this season. Ugh.

Stripes, floral patterns, ornate geometrics, mind-bending swirls and spots are all back for spring/summer 2012.

The experts are claiming it is not a trend to attack lightly. You need to go at it hard and with no fear of mismatching those patterns. The head to toe print look may not be for everyone so here are a few tips for how to wear prints with success this season!

  • Dont be afraid. Wear those prints from head to toe and be proud. This is not a trend to be approached with caution.
  • Explore animal, floral, and geometrical prints. The world is big and its packed with prints of all shapes and sizes.
  • Feeling a little concious? Explore the more delicate prints – two colour patterns for example
